The flagship industrial scheme enacted by the Government of Uttarakhand to promote manufacturing investments, substantial expansions, and modern factory setups across the state.
Subsidy Rates by District Category
Category A (Remote Hills)
Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Champawat
Up to 40% capital subsidy (Max ₹4.0 Crore for Medium / ₹40 Lakhs for Micro)
Category B (Mid Hills)
Almora, Bageshwar, Pauri, Tehri Garhwal
Up to 35% capital subsidy (Max ₹3.0 Crore for Medium / ₹35 Lakhs for Micro)
Category C (Foot Hills)
Nainital & Dehradun hill areas
Up to 30% capital subsidy (Max ₹2.0 Crore for Medium / ₹30 Lakhs for Micro)
Category D (Plains)
Haridwar & Udham Singh Nagar
Up to 15% capital subsidy (Max ₹1.0 Crore for Medium / ₹15 Lakhs for Micro)
Eligible Assets & Expenditure
- •New plant, machinery, tools & processing equipment
- •Factory civil shed construction and technical civil foundations
- •Electrical installation, transformer setup & testing equipment
- •Pollution control facilities & effluent treatment plants
Ineligible Costs (Exclusions)
- •Purchase of plain commercial land
- •Second-hand or refurbished machinery
- •Standalone working capital without capital assets
Additional Policy Incentives & Reliefs
- ✓Interest subsidy up to 6% per annum on term loans for 5 consecutive years
- ✓100% stamp duty exemption/reimbursement in Category A & B hill districts
- ✓Power tariff concessions for priority green manufacturing enterprises
- ✓Reimbursement of patent and quality certification (ISO) fees
Mandatory Filing Checkpoints
- 1.Online In-Principle DIC Registration must be completed BEFORE placing machinery purchase orders or commercial trial runs.
- 1.Project must be financed through an institutional bank term loan.
- 1.Valid Udyam Registration and factory land ownership/lease deeds required.
