Category A (Remote Hills)
Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Champawat
Up to 50% capital grant (Max ₹5.0 Crore)
Category B (Mid Hills)
Almora, Bageshwar, Pauri, Tehri Garhwal
Up to 40% capital grant (Max ₹3.0 Crore)
Category C (Foot Hills)
Nainital & Dehradun hill areas
Up to 30% capital grant (Max ₹1.5 Crore)
Category D (Plains)
Haridwar & Udham Singh Nagar
Up to 20% capital grant (Max ₹50 Lakhs)
Eligible Assets & Expenditure
- •Construction of tourist guest rooms, cottages & suites
- •Wellness spas, yoga halls, indoor dining & kitchens
- •Eco-friendly infrastructure, solar installations & water harvesting
- •Adventure activity facilities (climbing walls, ziplines, ropeways)
Ineligible Costs (Exclusions)
- •Pure residential apartments or villas meant for private sale
- •Commercial market shops without hospitality facilities
- •Speculative land investments

- ✓100% net state SGST reimbursement for 5 years in hill destinations
- ✓Special 5% additional capital assistance for certified green or solar-powered setups
- ✓Up to 5% prompt loan repayment interest rebate
Mandatory Filing Checkpoints
- 1.Registration with Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) prior to project commissioning.
- 1.Compliance with state tourism zoning, parking, and fire safety norms.
- 1.Commercial operational proof and physical verification by the District Committee.
